Review Overview – What does SHEER Testosterone do?

SHEER Testosterone, is a T Booster that comes to us from Sheer Strength Labs. We hadn’t heard of SSL before, but many of you wanted to hear what we thought of it.

Sheer-Testosterone-ReviewIn short, this T-Booster claims to:

  • Enhance Libido and Sex Drive
  • Increase Muscle Mass
  • Enhance Performance

It doesn’t talk about how it boosts testosterone in anyway, but we can forgive that as they’re obviously trying to make benefits seem as clear as possible.

However it’s not all as it seems. Read on to see our findings.

How does SHEER Testosterone work?

Overall the servings in SHEER Testosterone aren’t great. With only one serving a day of 3 capsules, you can’t guarantee that your T-Levels will stay elevated by the time you reach that next serving.

You want it so that servings are constant so your levels can continue to progress.

The best serving schedules we’ve seen typically have around 3 – 4 servings a day. This allows your body to get the nutrients it needs around the clock, for maximum effect.

The ingredients were a mixed bag, here’s why:

Zinc

Essential to boosting your testosterone levels. Zinc is required for essential reactions in the brain to create the precursor to the male hormone, LH, or the Luteinizing Hormone. Promoting growth hormone, testosterone and hair growth.

Vitamin D3

One of the best testosterone boosting nutrients out there. This vitamin is technically a hormone and responsible for surging levels of testosterone.

As we get most of our D3 from sunlight, it’s hard to get enough as we spend a lot of time indoors, supplementing the vitamin is exactly what you need to support optimum levels of testosterone.

Magnesium

This mineral doesn’t help produce testosterone, but it helps maintain it. By reducing the amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin in our body (SHBG) binding with circulating testosterone and making it unusable.

Now here’s where it starts to go downhill…

D-Aspartic Acid

Although DAA is a great nutrient for boosting LH, there’s isn’t enough in SHEER Testosterone. You need at least 1,500mg per daily serving to get the best results, however, you’ll only find 650mg in SHEER.

Fadogia Agrestis

Possibly one of the worst choices here. Fadogia Agrestis may help boost libido, but it’s largely unstudied. In fact, scientists believe Fadogia Agrestis may in fact be toxic.

Fenugreek

This is a better choice. Fenugreek is a good libido booster and has been seen to regulate insulin levels, which helps towards promoting testosterone.

Eurycoma Longifolia

Also known as Longjack. This herb doesn’t boost testosterone, and has seen to fail in every study. However it may help boost libido.

Ginkgo Biloba

Thought to be a cognitive enhancer, however studies have shown that this may be more of placebo effect as the benefits are often unreliable after supplementing.

As you can see there’s are few good ingredients here, but there’s definitely some waste here as well. Especially when it comes to Fadogia Agrestis. With the potential toxicity it’s not worth the risk.

SHEER Testosterone Booster Conclusion

Overall this is a testosterone booster with good intentions, but in the end just doesn’t have what it takes to yield the best results.

For starters there’s too fewer servings in Sheer. It needs at least 3 individual servings a day to get serious results.

Some of the ingredients weren’t bad, for instance the Zinc, D3 and Magnesium, but there were a lot of errors. The Fadogia Agrestis for instance, may help towards boosting libido, but potentially toxic.
