Review Overview – What does Well Roots Testosterone Formula do?

well-roots-testosterone-formula-reviewThis Testosterone Formula from Well Roots has been claimed to help:

  • Raise Sex Drive
  • Boost Testosterone Levels

But how well does it actually do this?

In this review, we’ve taken a closer look at the servings, ingredients and science behind this product from Well Roots to see if it is up to standard.

We were surprised by what we found, here’s what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Poor.

There is only one serving a day in this product. This is bad for supporting testosterone levels.

Without constant top ups throughout the day, there’s only so much progress your testosterone levels can make in the long term.

Ideally, what you should be looking for is a testosterone booster that delivers 3 to 4 servings a day. This gives your hormones a constant supply of the nutrients they need to grow continually.

What about the ingredients in Well Roots Testosterone Formula?

Also poor.

The main problem, is that many of the ingredients are part of a proprietary blend. This means we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be.

Most supplement that use proprietary plans, are usually poor performers, and want to hide their dosage.

This is what we found:well-roots-supp-facts

Zinc

There is a good amount of zinc in this product.

One of the core T-Boosting minerals, zinc is used in numerous reactions in the brain to create the luteinizing hormone (LH).

This is the main hormone needed for both testosterone and growth hormone.

Copper

This does not this testosterone. Too much zinc can lead to a copper deficiency, this is just to cover all bases.

Tribulus Terrestris

One of the worst testosterone boosting nutrients in the industry.

Due to clever marketing, this herb has been over hyped by the supplements industry.

The actual study is behind this herb show it to mildly help with libido, but it has never been proven to boost to testosterone.

L-Arginine

An amino acid that works as a nitric oxide booster. This can improve circulation, and erection quality.

However, studies have shown that this nutrient does not work well with oral supplementation, limiting the effects.

L-Citrulline

The better choice, L-Citrulline is converted into L-Arginine in the liver after absorption, solving the problem.

It works well as a nitric oxide booster, and even improves ‘muscle pumps’ at the gym.

Tongkat Ali/LongJack

Despite what was originally thought, this nutrient has not shown to improve testosterone levels.

The only benefits of supplementing LongJack is that it may have a mild effect on libido.

Asian Ginseng

A reliable libido enhancer, that has been seen to indirectly improve free testosterone levels.

By reducing the amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin in your system. Your testosterone levels aren’t having their anabolic potency taken away as much from this protein, allowing more to circulate.

Beta Sitosterols

Found in stinging nettle extract, this nutrient may promote free testosterone by how it inhibits sex hormone binding globulin.

CoQ10

An enzyme that may have a mild a fact as a pro erectile aid. However, studies are limited and it is unclear whether it will be effective at this unknown dose.well-roots-testosterone-formula-main-image

Overall, the only real effective ingredients in this product are the zinc, and the Asian ginseng.

The rest, seem more targeted to male enhancement/libido, or are ineffective when it comes to boosting testosterone.

Without optimal testosterone, it’s difficult to have an active libido. So without core testosterone boosting ingredients, these libido enhancing nutrients are useless.

Well Roots Testosterone Formula Review Conclusion

On the whole, this is a pretty poor testosterone booster.

Too many mistakes have been made in the making of this product, leading it to not ensure the desired effects.

Out of this review, this is what you need to know:

  • Poor Servings – only one a day is not sufficient for constant progress
  • Proprietary blend – we don’t know how much of each nutrient is being used, or how effective they are because of this
  • Ineffective ingredients – Many of these nutrients have not been proven to boost testosterone

Overall, this is a pretty weak product. You’re better off looking elsewhere.
