Review Overview – What does Testosterone Booster 742 do?

testosterone-booster-742-reviewA product brought to us by Sport Supplements, Testosterone Booster 742 is claimed to help:

  • Promote Testosterone
  • Improve Sexual Health
  • Increase Energy
  • But how well does it really do this?

In this review we’ve looked closely at the nutrient profile, servings and science behind this product to see if it really is worth the money.

This is what we found:

How are the servings?

Okay – but they could be improved.

With 2 servings a day, a lot more could be done to ensure Testosterone Booster 742 keeps your T levels on the rise.

Raising your T levels isn’t easy, and they need constant support to get there. For the best results you need a T-Booster that supplies your body with 3 – 4 servings a day. This keeps the supply of nutrients constant and your T levels on the rise.

We’ve made a list of the testosterone boosters with the best servings, ingredients and science behind them – you can check them all out in the link below:

The Top Testosterone Boosters Shortlist

What about the ingredients in Testosterone Booster 742?

They’re not great.

The issue is that the product is in a proprietary blend. This means we don’t know how much is being used, or how effective it will be.

On top of that the ingredient profile is lacking a lot of the core T boosting nutrients – take a look:testosterone-booster-742-ingredients

Tribulus Terrestris

One of the worst T-boosting nutrients you can come across.

Although originally thought to help produce testosterone, studies proved otherwise.

This herb has no benefit to your hormones but may help libido in some cases.

Saw Palmetto

This is good for your prostate, but not your T-levels.

Studies have shown using this extract may help reduce the symptoms of enlarged prostates. However the effects are minor.

It does not boost testosterone.

Stinging Nettle

A reliable nutrient for improving free testosterone levels.

Stinging Nettle has been in numerous studies to help lower Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) a protein that binds to free testosterone and strips it of its anabolic potency.

With less SHBG, less testosterone is at risk of being bound and you can have more of it available.

Boron

A good mineral for boosting testosterone. Studies have shown regular supplementation of boron can help raise testosterone and lower estrogen levels.

Horny Goat Weed

Unfortunately this isn’t the case with horny goat weed. Despite what it’s name may imply, it’s not as effective as you think.

It’s never been seen in any study to raise testosterone, it may in rare cases help give a minor boost to libido.

Eurycoma Longfolia (LongJack)

The same can be said here for LongJack. It’s never been seen to raise test levels but could help with libido.

Sarsaparilla Extract

Another failing testosterone booster. The sterols in Sarsaparilla were believed to be converted by your body into anabolic steroids. However this was all clever marketing.

In reality, the studies that involved Sarsaparilla have never proved this to be the case.testosterone-booster-742-main-image

On the whole this is a disappointing nutrient profile.

The fact that it’s a proprietary blend is the first problem, we don’t know what we’re getting of each ingredient – or how effective it will be.

Add on to that the fact that the only effective ingredients in here are the Stinging Nettle and the Boron and we’ve got serious troubles.

Side Effects

There have been no reports of side effects with Testosterone Booster 742, however Sarsaparilla has been linked to stomach irritation in other studies.

Sport Supplements Testosterone Booster 742 Review

On the whole, you can see this isn’t the most effective t-booster on the market.

If you’re looking at using Testosterone Booster 742 this is what you need to know:

  • Servings Need Improvement – 2 servings a day isn’t the best for reliable results
  • Proprietary Blend – We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used or how effective it will be
  • Ineffective Nutrients – A lot of the ingredients in here lack clinical backing
  • Missing core T-Boosting ingredients – D-Aspartic Acid, Zinc, Vitamin D3 and magnesium all would’ve been great here

As you can see, it’s definitely not your best choice out there.
