Review Overview – What does Superior Source’s Just Men Testeral do?
Brought to us by the folks at Superior Source, Just Men Testeral is an all natural testosterone booster that is claimed to:
- Boost Testosterone
- Increase Energy
- Increase Sex Drive
But how well does it live up to the hype?
In this review we look closely at the servings, side effects and safety regarding this supplement and see if it really is up to standard.
This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Not great.
With only 2 servings a day, there’s only so much benefit you can expect to get out of this product,
For consistent and effective testosterone boosting you need to give your body a constant supply of nutrients throughout the day.
Two just isn’t going to cut it. Ideally you need 3 – 4 a day for your body to get quick and effective results.
What about the ingredients in Just Men Testeral?
Not great.
The first problem here is that there are a lot of key nutrients missing. Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid, Luteolin, Zinc, all missing from this product.
In addition, there’s a lot of ineffective ingredients in the mix, and one that may even lower testosterone.
And you have to remember this is all under a proprietary blend as well – meaning we don’t know how much of each ingredient we’re getting, or how effective it will be.
Check it out:
Tribulus Terrestris
A herb once thought to boost testosterone, however the actual results are very different.
Studies have shown that the link between testosterone and Tribulus is weak – it doesn’t have much effect at all. The only area where it shows any kind of effect is libido, and these are minor.
Licorice Root Powder
This was a very poor choice – despite it just being here for flavor (due to the pills being soluble on the tongue).
Licorice has been seen in several studies to decrease testosterone and increase cortisol, the stress hormone – which lowers testosterone even further.
However the reliabilty of these studies are not the best – but there are no studies that support licorice boosting testosterone.
Fenugreek Seed Powder
Fenugreek is a better choice for boosting T.
Seen to help regulate insulin levels, Fenugreek can help boost your testosterone. Insulin directly interferes with testosterone, so the less of it you have in your system the better. A good trick to keep your insulin levels down is to avoid sugary foods.
Maca Root Powder
Maca on the other hand isn’t as good.
Despite how it’s marketed, Maca isn’t actually an effective testosterone booster, it may have some effect on libido, but the overall result is minimal.
Velvet Bean (Mucuna Pruriens) Powder
Mucuna Pruriens on the other hand are a lot better.
In several studies Mucuna Pruriens have been seen to raise your body’s L-DOPA levels which contribute to both testosterone and growth hormone.
Tongkat Ali (Longjack) Powder
Longjack on the other hand follows a similar root to Tribulus.
It was originally thought to boost testosterone, however studies proved otherwise. Longjack does not have a serious impact on testosterone levels, it may however, support libido.
Chrysin
A mushroom extract that has been linked to boosting testosterone – but there is a catch.
The only study where chrysin has worked effectively, it was injected directly into the testicles of the subject. It has never had an impact via oral ingestion.
Stevia Leaf Extract
Usually used as a sweetener.
Nothing to do with testosterone here, this is just for flavor as it dissolves.
Ingredient Overview:
On the whole this nutrient profile is pretty poor.
The only effective ingredients here are the fenugreek and the velvet bean, the rest lack the clinical trials to support their claims.
On top of that you need to keep in mind that the licorice in this product may be working against you.
It’s definitely not the best you’ll come across.

Superior Source Just Men Testeral Review Conclusion
As you can see, Just Men Testeral isn’t the best option out there.
From this review, there are several points you must keep in mind when looking at this Testeral:
- Ineffective Ingredients – Many of the ingredients used lack clinical backing.
- Servings need improvement – Only 2 a day, that needs to improve for consistent testosterone boosting.
- May boost estrogen – Licorice has been linked to increasing the female hormone.
- Proprietary Blend – We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be.
We wouldn’t recommend this product.
