Review Overview – What does Applied Nutrition’s T-Strong Testosterone Formula do?
Brought to us by Applied Nutrition, T-Strong is a testosterone booster that is claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Testosterone
- Sexual Health
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at the servings, side effects and overall safety of T-Strong to see if it is both effective, and up to industry standard.
This is what we found:
How are the servings?
Poor.
With only 1 serving a day, you’re not getting enough support to effectively boost your T-levels.
For the best results you need to be having around 3 – 4 individual servings a day. This gives your T-levels a regular top-up and keep the good nutrients in your system. It’s best way to see fast results.
What about the ingredients in Applied Nutrition’s T-Strong Testosterone Formula?
Not great.
T-Strong has a big proprietary blend. This means we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be.
On top of that, quite a few of the ingredients in this product don’t have a direct effect on testosterone, and are outdated.
Take a look:
Tongkat Ali (LongJack)
Originally thought to boost testosterone, the actual results from Longjack have been very different.
Studies have shown that this herb has no effect on T-Levels but may make some mild difference to libido.
Zinc
Zinc on the other hand is a far better choice.
One of the core mineral for testosterone boosting, zinc is used for several reactions in the brain to produce the Luteinzing Hormone (LH), this is the precursor to both testosterone and growth hormone.
Copper
This is a nice addition to support the zinc. Too much zinc can cause a copper deficiency, this is a nice touch and shows that Applied Nutrition have done their homework.
Tribulus Extracts
However, Tribulus Terrestris is the opposite of this.
Believed to boost testosterone, until several studies showed there was no real evidence for this.
L-Citrulline
A good ingredient for blood flow, but not for testosterone.
L-Citrulline is converted by your liver into L-Arginine, which promotes nitric oxide which promotes blood flow and works as a vasodilator.
L-Arginine
Similar effects to citrulline, except it fails to work effectively with oral consumption.
It’s not the best option, and it doesn’t promote testosterone levels.
Asian Ginseng
A better choice.
Asian Ginseng not only promotes blood flow and libido, but it also has some effect on testosterone.
By reducing your overall blood sugar, ginseng has been linked to lowering insulin levels, which promotes overall testosterone.
Beta Sitosterol
Found in Stinging Nettle Extract, and good for free testosterone.
Beta Sitosterol works by inhibiting Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) this is the protein that binds to testosterone and strips it of anabolic potency. With less SHBG, the more overall testosterone you’ll maintain.
CoQ10
A molecule used to produce energy in your body – however, there is slim evidence for it working from oral supplementation, and it definitely doesn’t boost testosterone.
Nutrient Overview:
Overall this is a pretty poor nutrient profile.
The main problem here is the proprietary blend. We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be.
Secondly, there are only 3 good ingredients in T-Strong Testosterone Formula: the zinc the beta-stiosterol, and the ginseng – the rest won’t have much of an effect on your overall T-levels.

- Proprietary Blend – We don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be overall.
- Poor Servings – With only 1 a day, you can’t guarantee day-long testosterone boosting.
- Ineffective Ingredients – Many of the ingredients used lack the clinical backing for their effectiveness.
So it’s pretty clear, that this is not your best choice.
